Traditional Easter baskets are filled with chocolate and pastel-colored candy. But this holiday doesn't have to be focused on high-sugar candy. There are plenty of healthier alternatives!
Here are some fun and healthy Easter basket ideas:
Hard boiled eggs
A few dark chocolates
Raw nuts and seeds
A garden starter kit
Yogurt covered raisins
With that said, chocolate and high-sugar candy do have a place in our diet. We don't need to label certain foods as "good" or "bad". It's all about moderation and balance in your eating and in your life.
